*Coronavirus Update – August 2021*
As of 19th July, the village hall welcomes bookings for all community events, activities and private hires. The hall will retain the majority of Covid safety measures which were already in place e.g. hand sanitiser stations, cleaning requirements. The track & trace QR codes remain available to hall users but ‘checking-in’ is not compulsory. Face coverings are not mandatory but are encouraged when not seated and are advised in more confined areas such as the kitchen. Hirers are encouraged to open windows where possible to aid ventilation. The hall’s capacity will, for the most part, be limited to 60 people. if you would like to run an event for more than 60 people, please get in touch.
We will continue to have some additional conditions of hire which are available on the bookings page. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
We are particularly pleased to be able to restart coffee mornings on Saturdays. Find out which community group is raising funds this weekend here.
During the hall closure, the ladies and gents toilets have now also been refurbished and are much improved. The next project will be the kitchen refurbishment and the committee is continuing to apply for grant funding and sponsorship to improve this and other facilities within the village hall. Please contact us with any ideas you may have for fundraising opportunities.
